“Anurag is very much capable of doing what #PayalGhosh suggesting, he cheated on all his partners, self admittedly has never been monogamous,” said Ranaut, 33, who has been in the news of late due to a bitter row with the Maharashtra government.
“Phantomwas full of womanisers many #MeToo accused, I supported those victims before also and librals started smear campaigns against me (sic),” she further said in a tweet.
On Saturday, Ghosh took to Twitter and wrote Kashyap was sexually inappropriate towards her. The 30-year-old also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her tweet, requesting him to take action against the Bollywood filmmaker.
Kashyap has, however, dismissed the allegations. “(But) while shutting me up, you lied so much that you dragged other women also in it. Please maintain some dignity madam. All I will say is that all your allegations are baseless,” Kashyap, 48, tweeted.

“Any lover or all those female actors with whom I’ve worked or the team of all those girls and women that have been working with me or all those women I’ve met in private or in public. I neither behaved like this nor do I tolerate such a behaviour at any cost,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ranaut went on to criticise Kashyap saying what “Anurag did to Payal” is a common practice in the Hindi film industry, which she referred to as “Bullywood”.
“I far as I know Anurag self admittedly has never been monogamous even when he was married to various people, what Anurag did to Payal is a common practice in Bullywood, treating struggling outsider girls like sex workers comes naturally to them,” she said.

“Bullywood is full of sexual predators who have fake and dummy marriages they expect a new hot young girl to make them happy everyday, they do the same to young vulnerable men also, I have settled my scores my way I don’t need #MeToo but most girls do,” she said.

She further said, “#MeToo has been a big failure in Bullywood because most rapists and harassers were liberals only so they killed the movement, for sure #PayalGhosh will be humiliated and silenced like all other victims but my heart goes out to her.”
Kashyap, however, found support in many film personalities, including Sayani Gupta, Tisca Chopra, Surveen Chawla and Anubhav Sinha, who urged that the #MeToo movement must not be abused for vendetta.
Calling Ghosh’s allegation the “cheapest” stunt, Kashyap’s first wife, film editor Aarti Bajaj said that the filmmaker was somebody who makes sure to create a safe work environment for his female co-workers.
