India beat Windies by 125 runs as India remain unbeaten in the ongoing World Cup. On a quick wicket taking spree, it never seemed like the West Indies stood a chance against India.

Bumrah’s two consecutive wickets changed the track of the game and put the Windies batsmen under tremendous pressure.

Chris Gayle was perhaps the biggest disappointment for the Windies as the big hitter departed scoring only six runs off 19 balls. Pooran and Ambris’ knocks helped the team steer past the 100-run mark but the duo fell to India bowling attacks soon.

India has set a target of 269 runs for West Indies. Virat Kohli’s 72 runs and Dhoni’s 56 helped India steer past the doubtful 250-run mark as quick dismissals marred the first innings of the match.

The first breakthrough — Rohit Sharma’s crucial wicket — after a review called by the West Indies had raised some serious questions in the pavillion and the stands. There could have been an inside edge but was that the pad? Review favoured the fielding side and Rohit Sharma walked back.
