Love indeed knows no boundaries. Not at least for a Chinese woman, who undeterred by the coronavirus outbreak, has travelled all the way to India to tie the knot with her Indian boyfriend.

Ji Hao, a resident of China recently travelled to India to get married to her boyfriend Satyarth Mishra, a resident of Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur. The wedding got solemnised according to Indian rituals at Satyarth’s hometown on Sunday (February 2).

The duo met five years ago, at Sheridon University in Canada where they were classmates. Later, their friendship turned into love and the couple decided to tie the knot after persuading their parents.

The engagement ceremony took place a day before, for which the bride’s parents had flown in from China, reaching India on January 29. They were accompanied by Ji’s three other close relatives.

Speaking to ANI Satyarth said that both the families had decided to have the engagement and subsequently the wedding in India according to Hindu rituals. They had also planned a function in China later, but it was dropped due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Such an inspiring tale of love comes in the backdrop of a severe outbreak of coronavirus, which so far has claimed 304 lives in China. Keeping the scare in mind, the Indian government on Sunday suspended e-visa facility for Chinese travellers and foreigners residing in China, to India.

Almost 654 people including seven Maldivian citizens were evacuated from Wuhan city, the epicentre of the virus, in two sorties by the Indian government.
