The accident occurred when the fuel tank accidentally caught fire while damage on it was being fixed by the welders, the police said.
The body parts of the welders were strewn on the road and nearby areas, they said.
Fire-tenders doused the flames. A case has been registered and an investigation had started, they added.
The accident comes a day after 11 people lost their lives following a gas leak at a chemical factory in Visakhapatnam.
