Vivek Oberoi tweets distasteful meme on Aishwarya, gets notice from NCW
Actor Vivek Oberoi has stirred up the hornet’s nest by tweeting a meme on actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s relationships and her personal life through the years, comparing them with results of the ongoing elections.
The three-part meme calls Aishwarya’s relationship with former beau Salman Khan as “opinion poll”, while comparing that with Vivek Oberoi as “exit poll”. The third photo showing Aishwarya with husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya is labelled as “the end result”.

Soon after the post went viral, Twitterati lambasted Oberoi for degrading a woman through an insensitive post.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has served the actor a notice demanding explanation over his tweet on exit polls, ANI reported.
In an earlier tweet, NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma had called Oberoi’s tweet as “absolutely disgusting, distasteful, and degrading a woman”, stating that a legal notice will be served to him.

Actor Sonam Kapoor also denounced the act, calling it “disgusting and classless”.
Aishwarya was in a tumultuous relationship with Salman Khan until the couple broke off in 2002. She dated actor Vivek Oberoi for some time before tying the knot with Abhisek Bachchan in 2007.
