PM to announce major decisions in Cabinet meet today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to make an important announcement during a meeting of the Union cabinet on Monday (June 1), on the first anniversary of Modi 2.0, reports said.

The anniversary coincides with the first day of the Centre’s three-phased period of Unlock 1.

Reports say the prime minister is expected to attend meetings with the cabinet committee on security and the cabinet committee on economic affairs and discuss issues including India’s ongoing standoff with China in Ladakh and an economic revival plan respectively.
