Kejriwal will betray you: Poet Kumar Vishwas warns Punjab CM

Former Aam Aadmi Patry member and poet Kumar Vishwas tweeted pictures of police personnel outside his house in Punjab.

The police visited Vishwas’ house after a case was allegedly filed against him for his remarks on AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and for allegedly doctoring a video.

In a tweet, without directly naming Kejriwal, Vishwas warned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that “the man sitting in Delhi will betray” him.

“I am warning you that the man sitting in Delhi, whom you are allowing to play with the power given by the people of Punjab, will one day betray you and Punjab also. The country will remember my warning,” Vishwas said in a tweet.

Prior to the Punjab Assembly polls, the BJP had shared a video of Vishwas, one of the founding members of AAP, where Vishwas alleged that AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal said that he wanted to be “either the Punjab CM or the PM of Khalistan”.

Soon after Vishwas’ tweet on Wednesday, AAP leader Naresh Balyan took a dig at him and asked him why he was scared.

“Police are only asking for proof of what you had said before elections. Give them the evidence and end the matter,” Balyan tweeted.

In the video, the BJP said that Kumar Vishwas was heard recalling his conversation with Kejriwal. However, even in that video, Vishwas didn’t mention Kejriwal’s name.
