In dire times like these, small acts of kindness can go a long way, in one such heartwarming video of policemen sharing their food with a man in need, former Indian all-rounder cricketer Yuvraj Singh praised the men in Khaki for their kind deed.


In dire times like these, small acts of kindness can go a long way, in one such heartwarming video of policemen sharing their food with a man in need, former Indian all-rounder cricketer Yuvraj Singh praised the men in Khaki for their kind deed.

Showering praises and sharing the three-minute-30 second video on his Instagram page, Yuvraj wrote: “It’s heartwarming to see such an act of humanity shown by these policemen. Much respect for their act of kindness during these tough times and for sharing their own food.”

On Friday (April 3), Yuvraj was one among the sportspersons Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to, including cricket stars such as current captain Virat Kohli, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, amid a national lockdown OF 21-days to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

A total of 49 athletes, along with sports minister Kiren Rijiju, participated in the video call.
