Documents on Chinese intrusion vanish from Defence Ministry site: Report

Documents posted on the website of the Union Ministry of Defence on the Chinese intrusion into the Indian territory along the line of actual control in eastern Ladakh in May have vanished after two days, NDTV reported.

According to the NDTV report, the Defence Ministry, in the official document, had mentioned, “Chinese aggression has been increasing along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and “more particularly” in the Galwan valley since 5 May.”

In fact, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had also said on June 2 that a “sizeable number” of Chinese troops have moved into eastern Ladakh and India too has taken all necessary steps to deal with the situation.
