Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sharad Arvind (SA) Bobde was spotted checking out a Harley Davidson bike on a Nagpur highway on Sunday (June 28). CJI Bobde checked out the motorcycle of a guest at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Nagpur.
The Harley Davidson CVO 2020 is priced at more than ₹51 lakh, featuring a nearly 2000cc V-Twin engine, and weighs more than 400 kilograms.
In an interview with IANS, before his appointment as Chief Justice, in October 2019, 64-year-old Bobde revealed that he used to ride a Bullet manufactured by the Indian company Royal Enfield. Bobde said that he likes to ride bikes and used to have a bullet.
Currently, CJI Bobde is in his home town in Nagpur. He was seen sitting on ‘Limited Edition CVO 2020’ of Harley Davidson. His pictures on the bike created a stir on Twitter, with many users sharing and retweeting the pictures.
The Chief Justice, who was part of the landmark Ayodhya title dispute verdict, is currently presiding over hearings through video conferencing, since the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
