Chandrashekhar Aazad leads march against SC ruling on reservations

Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Aazad has begun his ‘Aarakshan Bachao’ march from Mandi House to Parliament on Sunday against the Supreme Court’s ruling that state governments are not bound to provide reservation in promotions in public services.


Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Aazad has begun his ‘Aarakshan Bachao’ march from Mandi House to Parliament on Sunday (February 16) against the Supreme Court’s ruling that state governments are not bound to provide reservation in promotions in public services.

The Dalit leader is also joined by scores of other Bhim Army members. “The judgment of the apex court is totally against the Constitution’s promise of right to equality,” said Harjeet Singh Bhatti, spokesperson of the Dalit outfit.
